Percy Tannebaum Dies Percy Tannebaum, the co-author with Charles E. Osgood and George Suci of the classic Measurement of Meaning (University of Illinois Press, 1957) passed away on October 9, 2009 in Berkley, California. The semantic differential technique, which was described in that book has become the standard method for assessing affective meaning and its various translations used in many intercultural studies.
