Submission Guidelines:

Paper

Papers should be original and not published at the time of presentation. Extended abstract (no more than 600 words)describing the background, method, results, and conclusions must be submitted for consideration. Each paper will be assigned to a thematic session and each author is limited to 20 minutes oral presentation including questions and answer session.

Poster

Abstract guidelines for poster submissions are similar to paper submissions. Accepted submissions will given a time slot of 2 hours to present the poster. Poster guidelines will be shared later.

Symposia

A symposium is a 90 minute focused session in which a cluster of 4 or 5 papers are presented. The aim of a symposium is to present issues that are common across the papers. The session should be presented by a convener who briefly introduces the topic and a discussant whose role it is to offer critique and raise questions that help to promote discussion.
Please submit:
a. An overview of the symposium and how it relates to issues in intercultural research
b. Abstracts for all presentations (if relevant), each no more than 600 words.
c. Names and email addresses for all presenters, convener, and discussant.

Panel

We invite panel discussion of 4-5 persons related to the conference themes or the aims of the Academy. Ninety minutes including time for audience questions will be allocated for each panel. The purpose of the panel is to have discussions between panel members as well as to engage with audience members. Please submit an abstract of no more than 1000 words describing the focus, key questions, and list of panel members.
